Come rain, shine, or even snow, the journey must go on! We kept that in mind when crafting the Thredbo, an ultra-cosy slipper boot that puts earth-friendly comfort above all else.
DURABLE OUTDOOR SOLES – designed to take you from the couch to the back door and beyond, our signature high-grip Gumtread™ outsoles are flexible and long lasting, perfect for fireside or après-ski adventures. Plus, they're made with recycled rubber so every step loves the earth back!
SECOND LIFE & NATURAL MATERIALS - with felt uppers made from recycled plastic, foam insoles made from plant-derived organic materials, and durable outsoles made from recycled rubber, every step is a step in the right direction.
COMFORT FOR YOUR SOLE - the Thredbo's stylish high-top boot design can be worn rolled down or up, for your choice of snugness. Our super-soft recycled PET felt uppers provide a cosy, vegan-friendly alternative to traditional wool slippers, as well as being a second-life material.
FEEL GOOD, DO GOOD - through our partnership with Empower AS, your purchase of the Thredbo slipper recovers the equivalent of 80 plastic bottles worth of plastics from ocean shorelines and riverbanks. As well as providing income to local waste-pickers in South-East Asia & Africa, this converts harmful plastic pollution into renewable materials, like that used to make our cosy felt uppers!
Boot up & cosy down, adventure doesn't stop when winter begins!
Warm and cosy. Don’t want to take them off!
My daughter loves them as they hold their shape unlike a lot of slippers and are warm. Solid sole. Recycled materials and Gumbies’s support of charitable causes makes the purchase feel better. Four stars because the wide fit can make one compromise on foot length in order to get a narrow enough fit and if you have narrow it requires a thick sock at all times.
Seem very durable too
These are super cozy and comfy slippers with a solid sole. Nice and roomy in width. I found the boot cuff a little tight to start but they pull on much easier after a week without over stretching.
Roomy, but cosy and lovely.
