Developed with a passion for outdoor life now and for the future, Gumbies™ Islander Flip-Flops provide the freedom of minimalistic footwear while ultimately protecting the sole. Go further, in the Islander.

DURABLE OUTER SOLE - our Gumtread™ recycled rubber outsoles are flexible, durable and provide a tire-like grip for whatever terrain you might encounter. Biodegradable jute fibers reinforce and preserve the integrity of the rubber, so the adventure keeps on going year after year.

COTTON SOFT - finishing touches matter. That's why we use soft cotton canvas for both our toe posts and strap linings. We want your feet to feel as comfortable as possible, which is why we've added a thin layer of the same recycled cotton canvas to the footbed. This ensures instant comfort from the very first wear.

CONTOURED FOR COMFORT - designed to suit the natural shape of the foot, so you can expect support on every walkabout. Wear them beach-bound, bar-hopping, or embark on a new adventure.

PLANT A TREE - through our partnership with VERDN, your purchase of the Islander flip-flop plants 1 mangrove tree in Africa, providing jobs and income to local communities while simultaneously protecting the environment for the next generation of adventurers.

Timeless Islander style that keeps on giving - to the earth and to the sole!

Free 30-day returns and exchanges. For more information on our return & exchange policy. Click here for more information.

At Gumbies, we understand that reliable, comfortable, and durable footwear is essential for your satisfaction. We commit to providing high-quality products, and we back this commitment with a 12 Month (one-year) warranty from the date of your purchase.

Best Ever Flip Flops!

A few years ago I discovered these flip flops and have never bought from anywhere else since. They are comfortable, durable and wash in the washing machine. I now have about 8 pairs, of various colours, and wear them basically from April until the frosts start in October. Great product ❤️

VERY DISAPPOINTED

I was so hoping these were gonna be my new favorite flip flops. However they are so stiff also one is smaller than the other. When compared side by side the upper material of the flip flop is placed lower then the other making my heel hang off of it. very disappointing!!
