Finally replaced my 20yr old Dakine's (held onto as I'm very fussy about footwear. These are great though - currently in full field trial mode in Greece - from beach, boat and bar - breaking in beautifully!
My wife has 2 pairs - one last years, one the previous and both holding up very well.
Drops a point on comfort as foot slips a bit on step slope uphills - but I guess that's what the sandal version are for!
